Fabregas On The Target

Real Madrid presidential candidate Arturo Baldasano claims he has been in contact with Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas over a possible move to the Spanish giants - should he win the upcoming election. Baldasano is one of several candidates battling it out for the post left vacant by former supremo Fernando Martin, who resigned in April.

Having recently revealed he is chasing Lyon midfielder Mahamadou Diarra, Baldasano has now added Spain international Fabregas to the list of players he is hoping to bring to the club. "We´ve been in contact with Cesc and his agent has revealed to us that he wants to come to Madrid," Baldasano told the Spanish media.
